About This Role
We are hiring for one of our clients and are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer with an active CISSP certification. The ideal candidate should have 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, hands-on exposure to security operations, vulnerability management, cloud security, and incident response.
What We're Looking For
Requirements:
Preferred:
- Active CISSP Certification (Mandatory)
- 2–5 years of experience in Cyber Security / Information Security.
- Good understanding of security architecture and risk management principles.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of network security concepts.
- Hands-on exposure to Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Experience with vulnerability assessment and security incident handling.
- Working knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Exposure to SIEM platforms such as Splunk, QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel.
- Familiarity with security frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving security technologies.
Preferred:
- Recently CISSP certified or completed certification within the last 12 months.
- Looking to transition into a dedicated Cyber Security role.
- Experience from SOC, Infrastructure, System Administration, Network Administration, or Cloud Operations is welcome.
